Timing System Rules
The chip will be on the biker frame number and runner bib number. By wearing your number you will activate the chip as you cross the timing mat. The biker will ride over the timing mat before the handoff to the paddler. The runner will cross the timing mat on the way out of the beach.
All Teams, including iron and tin teams: Bikers and Runners will have the chip-NOT the Paddlers
BIKERS:
ChronoTrack BIKE-TAG Instructions:
- Place the White Label around the seat post with the number
facing backward so as to be read from the side - PLEASE NOTE THAT THE TIMING TAG IS UNDER THE LABEL
DO NOT REMOVE, TAMPER OR CREASE THE TIMING TAG
RUNNERS:
- The chip is already secured to the back of the race number
- The race numbers must be secured clearly to the front of the body using 4 pins-below the chest area
- DO NOT cover the race number with jackets or water bottles
- DO NOT bend or fold the race number
- The runner passes the timing mat on the way out of the beach area
